After preparation, the system searches by meaning, not only by keywords. There is no strict file-size limit — practical limits depend on browser memory. For very large atlases (200–300+ MB), index by page ranges.
✅ Quick checklist before atlas upload (1 minute)
- If text is selectable in PDF, upload directly. If it is just photo-scan pages, run Document Scan OCR first.
- Enable “This is an atlas — index images” if you want similar-image search.
- For smart text search, just upload the document; the system prepares semantic chunks automatically.
- For very large atlases (200+ MB), index in ranges: 1–100, then 101–200, etc.
